Cyber Security Summit is Sri Lanka’s premier annual cybersecurity awareness initiative co-organized by CICRA and Daily FT – Sri Lanka’s only business and finance newspaper. Since 2013, the event had been getting bigger and better every year.
In 2017 summit highlighted the main founder members of the world’s toughest hacking groups – LulzSec and Anonymous, namely Darren Martyn and Jake Davis, who were specially flown down for the summit.
In 2019 Cyber Security Summit highlighted insights into ‘prevention is better than investigation’ by a host of international and local experts. This seventh Annual Cyber Security Summit, which took place from 23 to 25 September 2019, will heavily feature figureheads from the world of cybersecurity whose accomplishments and experience will enrich the value of the Summit. Among these experts, Prof. Sam Bowne, who has made a name for himself at DEF CON Hacking Conferences was also there.
During this largest cybersecurity platform, participants learn the latest threats, trends, and solutions from both local and global experts.
